Bush Orders Military to Deliver Aid to Georgia

WASHINGTON — President Bush has directed the U.S. military to lead a humanitarian mission to Georgia where tens of thousands have been forced out of their homes following a Russian invasion last week that has been described by Georgia's president as an "ethnic cleansing."

Bush said a U.S. C-17 aircraft with humanitarian supplies is already on its way and U.S. aircraft and Naval forces will deliver humanitarian and medical supplies to the country in the coming days.

"The mission will be vigorous and ongoing," Bush said from the White House Rose Garden with Defense Secretary Bob Gates and Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice by his side.

"We expect Russia to honor its commitment to let in all forms of humanitarian assistance. We expect Russia to insure that all lines of communication and transport, including seaports, airports, roads and airspace, remain open for the delivery of humanitarian assistance and for civilian transit," Bush said.

Bush said he is also sending Rice to Georgia's capital, Tbilisi, to "personally convey America's unwavering support for the government of Georgia." Rice will travel beforehand to France to meet with French President Nicolas Sarkozy.

All our "ass kicking" power is in Iraq. If we're going to pick another fight, we better get our shit out of there. We're stretched thin. Top military personal have been telling bush that for years. Seems he don't give a fuck.

If we're going to fight the world over, anywhere, anytime, we better get a draft going, because we don't have NEAR the fucking shit to back up our mouth... or maybe better said, bush's mouth. I'm not real sure about America being the world police. It isn't in our constitution, and it costs a SHIT LOAD of money... from YOU AND ME. I just hate the thought of America being such a WAR LORD nation. That's not what we're supposed to be.

One would think that Europe would come to defend Georgia seeing as THEY are the ones who get MOST of their oil through them. THAT and we are talking about Russia here. What is to stop Russia from going into England. You dont see England rushing to defend themselves. I guess they like taking it up the ass from Russia?

Practically all of europe is on the russia, georgia oil tap. They're scared ta' hell that the oil will stop flowing. They're not going to say SHIT.

This is all a power play by the Russians. They want to show that part of the world how ineffective American protection is. This will make all of the other countries in that region think hard before siding with America over Russia because they'll be afraid of a Russian "incursion" into their territory.

I mean, for crying out loud, an ally of ours is attacked and all we send is Condi Rice and some MREs. What the fuck kind of message does that send to people in that area?
