I think to many people from DP got invited, and then all they did was bitch and whine because the other board wasn't good enough for them and it didn't look like DP. Well fuck that. This board IS a lot nicer, and I hope they never see it. We'll get back the people we know are cool to start with and screw the rest. We'll get a whole new bunch here.

There's all kinds of cool little things on the board. If you notice the little things at the ends of a post box that look like this... < > ^ .... if you hover your mouse over them, it'll tell you what short cuts they're for.

Thanks bud, I've done a lot of work already, but there's lots more to do. This board is so versatile, the customizing capabilities are endless. But, like I said before, I think less is more. I don't want it to ever be gaudy. But there is a ton of subtle changes I'm making. You may notice this morning that the color difference between each post is more stark now. It's a little easier to distinguish between the two.

Yeah I love this board. It has all the bells and whistles. I actually like it better than the Vbulletin like over at DP. Actually, at the phpBB support site, there's a thread with a poll about which board people prefer, Vbulletin or phpBB, and the overwhelming vote is for the phpBB... this one.

I haven't tried to load a pic straight off my computer yet. I believe you can but I haven't activated that feature yet. It's the "Gallery." I have to buy band width for that. So just use flikr like before.

Well, I've already found an aspect of this board I don't like. I won't say what it is because me being such an obsessive compulsive, nobody else will probably ever notice. I can be overly picky.

I think the colors are pretty cool too, so, I guess we'll let'm stay for awhile.

The first aspect I don't care for is the fact that this is a freebie forum, and they are always limited as to what you can do. Customizing forums is always easier when you have the benefit of the entire software package but for a freebie this place looks pretty cool.

Thought of maybe upgrading to a full version? And as a freebie forum are you able to offer other types of forum skins?

The basic board is free. This is not the basic board. I paid for the advanced controls and to keep it advertisement free.

And it looks the way it does now because that's the way I want it to look. It took a lot of work to get it to this point. Sorry if it doesn't meet with your approval.

Pale I started a "family only" PHP board a while back and had to shut it down because I got inundated with ad bots. They were either for drugs, porn or computer games. I would routinely delete them but when I started getting 10/ day I just gave up and shut the thing down. Have you experienced that?
